Course Description
This qualification reflects the role of individuals who apply highly specialised knowledge and skills in the field of organisational learning and capability development. Individuals in these roles generate and evaluate complex ideas. They also initiate, design and execute major learning and development functions within an organisation. Typically, they would have full responsibility and accountability for the personal output and work of others.
This qualification may apply to leaders and managers in an organisation where learning is used to build organisational capability. The job roles that relate to this qualification may also include RTO Manager and RTO Director.
Entry Requirements
- Learners must be a minimum age of 18 years.
- Must have completed an Australian Qualification or equivalent AQF level 4, or above. (All qualifications should preferably be Australian issued and meet AQF requirements) orMature Age students will also be considered without the minimum educationrequirements providing they have relevant work experience within the chosen area of study and a demonstrated capacity to meet the course requirements. A minimum of 5 years’ experience would normally be expected; however, each case will be reviewed individually with relevant work experience evidence in the form of an employment reference letter on company letterhead, work samples and curriculum vitae submitted will be considered. Such learner will be accessed for possible RPL opportunities, and their course duration and volume of learning will be adjusted accordingly if any RPL isgranted.
- To enter this qualification, applicants must also meet English Language Requirements IELTS (Academic) overall score of 5.5 or PTE Academic 42 or equivalent. Englishlanguage competence can also be demonstrated through documented evidence.
Qualifications Pathway
Students who complete this course may wish to continue theireducation into a range of Masters Degree qualifications
Additionally, all applicants are required to:
- Complete Pre-Training Review
- Complete an LLN assessment - diagnostic process to identify if prospective student requires LLN support.
Some assessment tasks are completed using a computer and internet, and it is essential for the student to possess basic computer skills.
